is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University Bratislava. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Criminal Law, Criminology and Criminalistics of the Faculty of Law, Comenius University. From April 2019 he served at the Directorate General of the Corps of Prison and Court Guard, in the department of remand and custodial sentences. In 2020 he defended a rigorous thesis on the theme: Quo vadis, criminal policy? In 2021 he successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled White Collar Crime. His professional and scholarly work centres on substantive criminal law and criminology. He has authored or co-authored a number of scientific and professional studies and articles. Since 15 July 2026 he has been the director of the Institute of Criminology, Sociology of Law and Judicial Research.
